Specialist in the development of vegan and plant-based products: Vegan Mycoprotein Nuggets

Vegan Mycoprotein Nuggets

Vegan nuggets with a firm texture

These mycoprotein-based nuggets come with a wide range of benefits. Mycoprotein is a complete protein source, containing all essential amino acids. The texture is firm and juicy, comparable to traditional nuggets. Its neutral flavour provides an excellent base for plant-based products, enhanced with herbs and spices for great taste.

Aligned with new protein trends

Mycoprotein is rapidly gaining traction as an ingredient in plant-based product development. Its firm structure suits chicken-style applications, while the neutral taste allows for a wide variety of seasonings. These nuggets meet the demand for new plant-based protein sources and fit within the Ingredients segment.

Versatile for every concept

Use nuggets in wraps, kids’ menus, sharing platters, or as a snack in foodservice. In retail, they offer an attractive plant-based option within the snack or meat alternatives category. For industry, they serve as a suitable base for chilled or frozen concepts.

What is mycoprotein?

Mycoprotein is produced from fungi grown in a controlled environment, where they feed on glucose. During growth, the fungi multiply and form a dense, fibrous structure similar to meat. The mycoprotein is harvested, processed, and used as an ingredient in meat alternatives. Mycoprotein is naturally low in fat and cholesterol.
