Vegan Mycoprotein Nuggets

Protein innovation: Mycoprotein Nuggets
These Mycoprotein-based Nuggets are packed with benefits. Mycoprotein is a complete protein source; it contains all the essential amino acids. The texture of these Mycoprotein Nuggets is firm and juicy, similar to traditional nuggets. The neutral taste of Mycoprotein provides a good base for plant-based products, and with herbs and spices, we have made these Nuggets delectably delicious.

Sustainable innovation: Mycoprotein Nuggets
These Mycoprotein Nuggets are ideal for both retail and foodservice industries. In foodservice, they can be used as an attractive and versatile snack for dishes such as wraps, children's menus or on drinks boards.

Mycoprotein Nuggets are not only nutritious but also environmentally friendly, which perfectly matches the growing demand for sustainable foods. Their production requires significantly less land, water and energy compared to traditional meat production, but also compared to textured soy protein, mycoprotein has a lower footprint.

What is mycoprotein?
Mycoprotein is produced from fungi. These fungi are grown in a controlled environment where they feed on glucose. During the growth process, the fungi multiply and form a dense, fibrous structure similar to the texture of meat. This mycoprotein can be harvested, processed and used as an ingredient in meat substitutes. Moreover, mycoprotein is naturally low in fat and cholesterol, making them a healthy choice for people looking to reduce their fat and cholesterol intake.
