Schouten publishes first sustainability report
Schouten has completed its first sustainability report. In the report, the company provides insight into the topics that are relevant to Schouten in the areas of environment, people and governance. The report is based on the VSME Basic Module and marks an important step in further structuring and substantiating sustainability information.

More insight into sustainability
Over the past period, Schouten has worked on gaining a clearer overview of its sustainability information. This included collecting data, speaking with stakeholders and further developing key topics in the areas of environment, people and governance.
“With this first report, we make our sustainability information more concrete and easier to verify,” says Laura van Tiel, QA & CSR Manager at Schouten. “It helps us show more transparently where we stand, which steps we are taking and where opportunities for improvement lie. Together, we are taking the next step in further embedding sustainability within Schouten.”
